Girls Generation is the worldwide famous girls group of 8 girls formed under SM Entertainment. Groups debut came in 2007 . Group rose to fame with the song “Glee”.  Melon named it, the most popular song of the 2000s in South Korea. It also scored top position for 9 consecutive weeks on KBS’s Music Bank. Groups ninth member, jessica jung left the group in 2014 . Their Top hits include Glee ,Tell Me Your Wish , Oh! , Run Devil Run .

Their debut album in japan  got top position in Japanese Oricon Albums Chart. It is also the first non-Japanese group to get certified “Million” by Recording Industry Association of Japan.
